Formerly the Athol State School then a Girl Guide Hut, Ashwood Cottage was relocated from Pitsworth near Toowoomba. Today the outlook frames sweeping views from every window. Kick back & relax in this calm, stylish, adult only space, designed for couples for a romantic getaway, a single adult to experience some me-time, or a traveller looking for some respite. In this beautiful cottage you can enjoy the experience of total off-grid living in luxury and with all the conveniences. A private timber deck with bar stools and wide timber rail for drinks and eats is where you'll spend most of your time — coffee in the morning, wine at dusk, beside a cast-iron freestanding bath overlooking pastures to distant hills.

Inside, a comfy Queen bed dressed in 2000tc Egyptian cotton sheets, double shower, a wood-burning fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen for slow, unhurried mornings. A coffee pod machine and choice of teas is available and milk (dairy) for a cuppa on arrival. This is a place to arrive and immediately exhale. No parties or events are permitted on the property.
